As such WynTec follows strict guidelines for assessing the home's energy usage, comfort, and safety and can provide you with incentives offered by NYSERDA, access to low interest loans, or the Assisted Home Performance with Energy Star Program.

WynTec follows a "Four Step" process to drive energy costs down while maintaning or improving both the comfort and safety of the home owner. Once all the energy saving measures are in place, WynTec provides services for reducing fossil fuel use with the installation of alternative energy solutions and ground sourced Geo-Thermal Heating Systems.

WynTec has partnered with other local companies that specialize in each aspect of the program, from insulation and air sealing, to HVAC and Geo-Thermal systems.

WynTec is independant, unbiased, and focuses on what is the best value for the customer.

WynTec's Four Step Process begins with -

  • Step 1: The Comprehensive Home Assessment
    • PRICE: $350

Our fee provides you with -

  • Understanding of your long term goals, current cost, and issues
  • A comprehensive test and analysis of your home
  • Energy use and reduction modeling
  • Comprehensive report of issues and remedies
  • Discussion of results and options for improvements
  • Prioritization and planning for high value upgrades

After Step 1, the Customer can then choose to have WynTec install some or all of the recommended upgrades, do them on their own, or hire other contractors to perform the work.

Staying with WynTec provides you access to NYSERDA's Home Performance with Energy Star incentives, a quality installation, quality control and verification after the installation, and a one year warranty on all work performed. In addition, WynTec will insure you'll be well prepared for the final step to energy independance and the state of "Zero Energy Balance".

Staying with WynTec brings with it steps 2 through 4 -

  • Step 2: The Customer Contract
    • Prioritization and planning of the improvements
    • If the customer chooses, WynTec will install some or all
    • NYSERDA incentives, low interest loans, Assisted Home Performance with Energy Star Program
  • Step 3: Post-Installation Testing and Verification
    • Verify the improvements are on target
    • Insure you're a happy customer
  • Step 4: Follow Up and Future Planning
    • Planning improvements delayed to a later date
    • Estimating potential alternative energy solutions
    • Identifying opportunities for Sustainable Living
