Combustion Safety Testing
WynTec Enterprise LLC is an Accredited Contractor through BPI, the Building Performance Institute. As such we follow BPI’s strict guidelines for conducting Combustion Safety tests.
Indoor air quality is of paramount importance to WynTec, as we believe “The home is our homestead, our comfort zone where we spend time with our family and celebrate life”. Along with other indoor air contaminants Carbon Monoxide is detrimental to our safety and well-being.
Like Radon, it is colorless and odorless. Having any gas fired appliance, such as a furnace, hot water heater, or kitchen stove, operate properly is key to living in a safe environment.
WynTec provides Combustion Safety Testing, including:
- Carbon Monoxide measurement in each room in the house
- Gas leak detection, from the supply to each applianc
- Measurement of draft of the furnace and hot water heater
- The degree of Carbon Monoxide spillage during initial firing of the appliance
- Determines if Carbon Monoxide is present in the supply air of a forced air heating system
- A detailed report describing the adequacy of draft, the presence of gas leaks, and the level of Carbon Monoxide inside all areas of the home
- Guidance on what to do, when, and who to call for the best service
Price: $150, or $125 with a home inspection (Note: combustion safety testing is included in all WynTec Energy Assessments)
